“Be the Bridge” Bingo
Support Local Asian-Owned
and/or Community-Rooted Small Businesses
This May, as part of ACL Spokane’s Asian American Heritage Month celebration, we’re inviting you to join Be the Bridge Bingo — a month-long community challenge to visit, support, and celebrate Asian-owned and/or community-rooted small businesses across Spokane.
Local businesses are more than places to shop or eat. They are gathering spaces, cultural anchors, and important parts of Spokane’s local economy. They help create belonging, preserve stories, and build connection across communities. This bingo is one way we can show up for the people and places that help make our city vibrant.
In the spirit of this year’s theme, Be the Bridge: The Strength of Us is Together, we hope this bingo encourages small but meaningful crossings — into new neighborhoods, new businesses, new conversations, and and a deeper sense of what community can look like when we move toward one another.
Bingo runs May 1–30.
By participating, you’ll have a chance to win prizes, including gift cards and special items from local partners and participating bingo stops.
A huge thank you to all of our community partners and small businesses who are making this celebration possible.
Have fun, explore, and Be the Bridge this Heritage Month!
How to Participate
Step 1: Grab a bingo card
Pick up a bingo card at any participating bingo stop listed below. Bonus: you can get your first chop/stamp when you pick one up.
We will also have bingo cards available at our Opening Reception on Friday, May 1, from 6–8 PM.
Step 2: Visit bingo stops
Visit participating businesses to receive a chop/stamp on your bingo card. Take time to get to know the business, make a purchase or contribution if you’re able, and support them with love.
For a bonus entry, tag @aclspokane on Instagram when you visit a bingo stop.
Step 3: Turn in your card
Once you’re ready, drop off your completed bingo card at any participating bingo stop by May 30. Please make sure your contact information is filled out so we can reach you if you win a prize.
