We believe creativity is a powerful tool for environmental justice. Our art-based workshops use imagination, culture, and hands-on activities to make sustainability engaging and accessible for our communities.

Upcycle Workshops 

ACL Upcycle Workshops are meant to empower community members to participate in upcycling items they would otherwise not. ACL focuses on holiday’s that traditionally encourage consumer driven waste. Through demonstrations and crafts, we work on holiday decor and upcycling to reduce our waste. From our Spooky Upcycle workshops where we give away halloween costumes to Valentines Day, where we created our own decor. Community members are also able to shop at the local Art Salvage store to enhance their creations. 

Sustainabili-TEA & Art 

Our communities gather over boba tea to create art, share stories, and spark conversations about building a healthier, more sustainable Spokane. Our community participated in creating a digital zine.
