We’re excited to share that the Asian Pacific Islander Coalition (APIC), with ACL Spokane as its Spokane chapter, is once again hosting our annual A&NH/PI Legislative Day in Olympia on February 5!
This event brings together community members from around the state to meet with legislators to advocate for important policies and programs that impact our communities, and we’re hoping you will join us!
Spokane community members requested to register by January 22, 2026 to be included in transportation arrangements. You can register here. All registrants will receive lobby training and materials about APIC’s legislative priorities in advance.
In a time of unprecedented anti-immigrant sentiment, let’s show our elected officials that rain, shine, or snow we show up for our communities! Even in a short legislative session, we want to be loud and clear that our state must protect our vulnerable immigrant communities. We will start off our legislative day with a rally on the Capitol, making sure that our elected leaders know, see, and feel the strength of our communities! After the rally, constituents will meet with their state legislators to advocate for their communities and APIC legislative priorities, such as continuing essential programs and services for immigrants, protecting immigrant workers, and ensuring our state budget isn’t balanced on the backs of working class families.
Join us as we make our voices heard and our power felt. Register here and we’ll send you all the information you need!
