OUR WORK
HEALTH & WELLNESS
Our Health & Wellness Program is dedicated to fostering healing, resilience, and community care. We recognize the unique mental health challenges faced by Asian and Asian American communities, from stigma to systemic barriers, and we are committed to breaking those cycles. Through culturally responsive workshops, peer support spaces, advocacy, and storytelling, we create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Boba Events
Boba Buddies & Boba Breaks aim to foster protective factors and mental health fortitude in Asian and Asian American youth and young adults. Programs include games, exercises, and more.
Forge Panel
This event gathers therapists to speak to dismantle stigma around mental health, connecting mental health experts with anyone and everyone.
Workshops
Our workshops are led by Mental Health experts who help you learn techniques and tools to improve your mental well-being.
ARTS & CULTURE
Our programs celebrate our cultural pride and offer a space for intergenerational dialogue, helping individuals explore and deepen their understanding of their roots while connecting with the broader community. By providing A/AA members the opportunity to share their stories, we amplify diverse narratives, create a shared sense of belonging and healing, and shape a more intersectional community.
Asian American Heritage Month
Each year we host several events to celebrate, educate, and connect over the rich and diverse cultures of Asians and Asian Americans.
Chai Culture Club
Chai Culture Club is committed to creating spaces of belonging where club members can celebrate our community stories and critically discuss their impact. Club membership is free and open to any Asians/Asian Americans in the Spokane area.
Environmental Justice
Our Environmental Justice program aims to empower Asian American communities in Spokane by addressing environmental inequities through education, advocacy, and creative collaboration.
CIVIC ENGAGEMENT
We advocate for the rights and equity of Asians and Asian Americans, including immigrants, refugees, and citizens in Washington state. Our policy work aims to connect our community’s values to a broader political system that truly represents and serves us.
Our 501c4 Organization
Asians for Collective Action (ACA), our 501(c)(4) organization, is taking our advocacy to the next level. Together with ACL, we’re making an even stronger stand—not just advocating for change, but demanding accountability from our representatives and fighting for the critical policies our communities need to thrive.
